Narrowcasting and digital signage are becoming increasingly popular as a way of communicating marketing messages to consumers. In order to stand out from the crowd, digital signage must have clear messaging and punchy visuals.
This piece for AXA was delivered through Bristol-based digital agency E3. We shot the film in HD in a large green screen facility and had a compositing suite on-site to allow edits of rough cuts, so the client could view footage on the same day. We overcame the technical challenge of recreating an escalator in a green screen studio by shooting the actors individually and using some clever compositing.
The film ran for two months across the London Underground and was seen by millions of commuters.
